The Ulyana top is made of embroidery on cambric with scallops (repeating semicircular protrusions along the edge of the fabric, forming a scalloped or wavy pattern). The cambric has a glossy sheen due to woven silk threads, and lace of the same shade gives the fabric the right volume and texture. Scallops, as a pattern element, frame the sleeves and collar. Voluminous silhouette sleeves are tapered towards the bottom.
